(Construction.IndustryNews247.Com, December 16, 2015 ) Kohler and Delta faucets were among the winners of 2015 watersense awards 2015. on October 8th, the US Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) WaterSense program awarded 4 WaterSense sustained excellence awards and 6 excellence award winners at the watersmart innovations (WSI) conference and exposition in Las Vegas.
They found that Kohler and Delta faucets were the unique brands who made a difference across the country by creating and communicating consumers about WaterSense labeled products, homes and programs in 2014. the combined efforts of the winners and more that 1,600 WaterSense partners have helped consumers save more than 1.1 trillion gallons of water and $21.7 billion in water and energy bills since 2006.
Its the third consecutive time that Kohler receives this Sustained Excellence Award for collaborating with the Home Depot to offer special promotions on WaterSense labeled products.
Delta faucet company has earned its first Sustained Excellence Award for partnering with global hotel chains on studies targeting hotel water efficiency, as well as working with major home improvement retailers to develop strategic marketing plans for WaterSense products.
The HomeDepot received its first Sustained Excellence Award for its 5-week national campaign promoting Fix a Leak Week. The chain had a number of in-store water efficiency promotions, website features and earned 518 billion WaterSense -related media impressions.
